  36. Allen, is there a way you and Stuart could provide the ability 
  37. for us Toaster users to run LightWave and Modeler separately, an
  38. ability that the unbundled users will apparently have?

  40. This is something that you can do on most other Amiga 3D software
  41. either within the program or by running several copies of the
  42. program.  It's the kind of thing the Amiga was made to do.  I'd
  43. particularly appreciate it on my machine which is as speedy as
  44. 2-4 A4000s but without any networking bottlenecks.

  46. Ideally, I'd like to be able to run them without running the
  47. Toaster software (displaying to Spectrum and other cards).  
  48. However, it would still be an improvement to run them separately 
  49. even if it still required the Toaster software to be running.

  51. One way or another, can you and Stuart make it so it's possible 
  52. to be rendering one project while modeling another, eventually?

  54. It seems like that would also be in NewTek's best interest, so 
  55. that the stand alone version is not perceived as a better 
  56. version.

  64. PS.  Nice link object, Stuart.  With metaform and the new bone
  65. hierarchy, I'm looking forward to experimenting more with 
  66. character animation.  Does anyone have any cool ideas for easily
  67. syncing up audio while animating?  I may have a project coming
  68. up with a talking character.  Allen, any ideas about integrating
  69. the Flyer's audio support directly in LightWave?  How about the
  70. SunRize cards or the MacroSystem cards?  Scrubbable audio while
  71. setting up motions in LightWave could be very cool...
